Galwan Valley as Ranbhoomi Darshan point; Soldiers lives and will of authorities

Galwan valley marks as tourist destinations by Indian authority under Ranbhoomi Darshan scheme. The first fatalities in the area said to be happened in 1970s between India and China. Afterward the junction becomes sensitive and essential point, consequently Galwan valley's clashed on 15th June 2020 had resulted major losses of both soldiers. Indian official released the loss of 20 soldiers from Bihar regiment including officers, whereas Chinese authority didn't clear about the intensity of losses and casualties. It is believed that hiding the identity of martyrs is also a weak sign of the nation-state, no matter what result of the war is.

In general war is not the actual solution for any problem among nation-states. The statement is already popular even among the experts on War. But why does war become glorified?.  The simple reason is, soldiers sacrificed for the nation during their blossom era. Like a gardener repented, when someone plucked the blossom flowers, warning signs often appeared against plucking. The sign indicates action against the indiscipline creator, and same logic applied on similar conditions.

Many a time, indiscipline appears for vested interest in terms of limited resources and land is one of the examples. The vested interest for the resources can achieve through power and power is exercised by the will of authority. The will of authority makes rigid of rules against indiscipline creators, where implementers often suffers through diluted, fragmented, and blur concepts of rules.

Galwan dispute is one of the results, where two sovereign authorities are unable to dissolve the matter, consequently Soldiers laid their lives, most worsen part is Chinese authority didn't recognize their soldiers who sacrificed their lives. In a war where large numbers of soldiers were deployed and heavy clashes had happened, it was inevitable that losses and casualties may occur larger than revealed data. Soldiers are simple they just obey the authority which received for maintaining the discipline. Even in war they even recognize the bravery of enemy, there are many examples whether ancient Trojan war of 12th Century BC or Kargil of 1999 to Galwan clashes of 2020.

Ranbhoomi Darshan:

My opinion for Ranbhoomi place is just to respect the lost blossom who sacrificed for the will of authority in context to secure the land. Although, their valour, braveness, preservation, dedication and patience must be respected without romanticize the war. Galwan clashed was one of the constraint steps for bringing solutions. As a researcher, one left many things to unveil about its cause and effect. What we can envisage through media is both the soldiers taken such step.

Beyond the valours, visitors also come to know about Ghulam Galwan Rasool (1878-1925) and his travel dairy ‘Servant of the Sahib’. A Ladakhi explorer of Kashmiri descent, after whom the Galwan river is named. He was an acclaimed guide and caravan manager and he accompanied with numerous expeditions of European explorers during the British Raj. The Travelogue of Galwan Rasool becomes historical evidence between India and China Conflict particularly who actually owned the land. And also comes to know about the importance of travelogue even in rudimentary language as written by Mr. Galwan Rasool, his travel dairy cover the range of Kashgar, Khotan, Kashmir, Nubra and his expertise of the Chang-Chenmo valley.

The book 'Servant of Sahib' itself reflects the essential messages of hierarchical system like serve to master(Sahib), Calibre to face  unforseen challenges in terms of geography, climate, dealing in foreign land and peoples, handling business, management of foods, shelter, health for caravan. The valley of ChangChemo for Galwan Rasool's caravan was one of the most challenging, where non-habitant land with harsh climatic inevitable of unprecedented of do and die situations. Even in that conditions their priorities go for a master safety that was both ethics as well as their duty.

Inductively, one can learn big messages from the life of Ghulam Galwan Rasool that how as a child his mother didn't effort to send him to a teaching institute, where many children in Leh town got opportunities to access the private learning institute. Later his adult life, he had to travel as guide or helper from eight to twelve months plus for basic survival Despite his struggling life, he was actively focused on both learning and earning. His travel dairy is one of them, he was that time soldiers of Galwan valley like today's soldiers deployed at high altitude. Ghulam Galwan was the best guide, manager, decision maker, and situations handler. He manages every pro and cons situation, one example was to cool down the worse situations of his caravan with the Chinese belligerent team at Khotan.

Like Ghulam Galwan Rasool, there have been thousands of soldiers who protect with bravery but remain under the veil, and it will go unsung. Although, living safely of the border's people are reflections of their sincerity in service And their tourists who visit at the borders might feel the contributions made for the nation by brave soldiers.
