Read again the race stories of Rabbit and Tortoise

 

Read again this story will further enable in edition of better contributions in the story of the Rabbit and Tortoise. We are already familiar with the race of the Rabbit and Tortoise with moral lesson of slow and steady win the race. Let  restart the journey of races between the Rabbit and Tortoise. Once upon a time, there was a long discussion held between a Rabbit and Tortoise that who has capable of winning the race, their argument decided to race between them from valley to top of the mountain.

After first race, another race began between the Rabbit and Tortoise, as usual Rabbit started very fast from the beginning, without any stoppage the rabbit run till middle of the mountain, and then he thought to turn back that Tortoise might be still in middle of the valley and feeling of take rest for the moment. But suddenly remembered the prescription that never takes break and always keep moving. And he done this, continued his race, finished the race with wide margin of gap and won the race.

The main message from second race is how light reader or assumed reader may answer these questions according to early version of race. Was rabbit sleeping in the middle of the mountain? And was Tortoise won the race? If your answer is ‘rabbit slept in middle of the mountain and Tortoise won the race’ then read it again.

In our daily life, including myself, many of us often doing any activities as per earlier instruction, we may not inquire or react differently. Every usual phenomenon has its own different sense that is the reasons some people giving this unique presentations and ideas as a writer, philosopher, saint, and scientist.

Many of us familiar with traditional version of race, that the Tortoise won the race while rabbit was sleeping in middle of the race.  Although story teller, presented this Rabbit and Tortoise’s stories in many version. One of them was which we read initial content of this story where rabbit won. The above story is giving morality of ‘fast and consistency’ always defeat ‘slow and steady’. It is always good to slow and steady in the inception but fast and consistency is perquisites of the race. The race should be with our own with inner discipline and capacity.

After second race, Tortoise was feeling disappointed now to loss second race. The Tortoise did some thinking this time, and realized that there’s no way he can beat the rabbit in a race the way it was currently formatted. The rabbit took off and ran at top speed until he came to a broad river, Rabbit didn’t realize that to cross the river is not his ‘cup of tea’. The rabbit sat there wondering what to do. In the meantime the Tortoise trundled along, got into the river, swam to the opposite bank, continued walking and finished the race. The moral of the story is ‘Always recognize your strength and race on the basis of your potential.

After third race, now both Rabbit and Tortoise realized that they have their own capability and weakness, for living together and growth together they need to relay together with using their own capabilities. They race again, on the ground Rabbit helps Tortoise and in the river Tortoise helped Rabbit as according to their capabilities.

Now my version of Rabbit and Tortoise race is both has decided to race again and again in different format, one of them was ‘slow race without stoppage’. This time again Tortoise finished the race later and categorized Tortoise as winner due to longevity in race, because natural tendency of rabbit make faster than Tortoise despite kept slow pace. The Tortoise has lot many experienced of ebbs and flow which he experienced and observed. The moral of the story is ‘longevity has meaningful life despite ebbs and flows’. In the fast and hurry life, we needs to focus overall goal of the mission that includes family, relationship, institutions, society, environments, and other unwanted elements make us slower in race. But one have to experience with it, needed to taken care everything that is called sustainability.
